FOODS
Dragon Maki
There were so much ingredients in their dragon maki, but the various components worked in harmony. It has all our favorites rolled into one: shrimp, tempura, eel, and salmon. What more can we ask for? For me, it is flavorful enough so you don't have to dip it in soy sauce anymore. My only wish was that it be a bit more budget friendly... ₱495 is too much for me for 8 pieces of bite-sized makis.
CHASHU MEN
₱310 for a big bowl of Ramen is actually considered cheap, so it was such a delight when I took a sip of the soup. It was so flavorful! It's not the creamy soup base you'd find in high end ramen shops, but it's a different kind of soy-based yumminess. The braised pork belly toppings were melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the best part is, they did not scrimp on the number of pork slices per order! The noodles were slightly overcooked compared to how I liked it though, but is still good. The tamago (egg for Japanese) was just your usual hard-boiled egg, the weakest part of this ramen bowl.
TEN ZARU
This had tempura and cold Soba with dipping sauce. Super affordable with quality that almost matches the higher end Japanese restaurants. The dipping sauce was a perfect blend of sweet, tangy, and salty with hints of umami. The tempura was light and crisp. The buckwheat noodles are the only downside because of the lack of firmness and bite that should've paired well with the tempura. The serving size was a bit too much as you would have a lot of noodles left even after finishing the tempura.
